My name is Dr. Renato C. Nicolai (I like to be called Dr. Nick).  I wrote The Nightmare That Is Public Education: An Exposé of What Really Happens in Public Schools.  After nearly forty years in public education as a 6th through 12th grade teacher of English and the principal of two elementary schools and one middle school, I retired and decided to tell the education community and the public at large how broken public schools are.
